The disciples to continue the work (v.4,5)

4 On one occasion, while he was eating with them, he gave them this command, “Do not leave Jerusalem, but wait for the gift my father promised. 5 For John Baptized with water but in a few days, you will be baptized with the Holy Spirit”.

The disciples were with Jesus for about three and half years.

They involved with Jesus in his ministry.

They witnessed his death, burial and his resurrection.

They were commissioned (Matt 28: 18 - 20).
